Chow Coupons
A reader sent in a good tip last
week. She found out that you can get free Purina Cat Chow coupons
for taking a little quiz on the Purina website. You have to know
where to go and sign up but you get up to a $4.00 off coupon for your
time and trouble (link is at bottom of article) or even a two for
one offer.
When I went and looked the link
worked as mentioned and you can actually get a coupon for several
different Purina Cat food products. The going price around here
for Purina Cat Chow dry cat food is
about $13 for 18lb bag of Purina Cat Chow. If you watch for sales,
sometimes a few dollars below that and every once in awhile two
for one.
If you're a multiple cat owner,
cat food can get a little pricey these days. And buying the
cheaper brands can impact your cat's health due to all the
fillers. Purina Cat Chow is better than most but you can still add
a little extra protein to round out your cat's diet.
If you wait and use the coupon
for a 2 for one sale you can get two bags for $6-7 dollars. Now
that's a good deal. With the economy being in such a sad state of
affairs, any savings is a good thing.
Which brings up another thought.
When you have time, why not go check all your favorite cat
products and pet store websites and see if they have any coupons
or special savings program.
Many companies are trying to keep
people buying and coupons are a great way to do that along with
other promotions. An hour or two checking websites could save you
a good chunk of money on your pet supplies.
This goes for Veterinarians, flea
and pest supply stores, and other related products for your feline
friend. Coupons and specials can really save you some money and
are worth the effort.
This also provides a great
opportunity to help out any local shelters. I got several people
to go in and print out a coupon (only one per registration is
allowed) and then bought 6 bags for a shelter we support. They got
some free food (which they desperately needed) and we save a few
bucks helping them out.
So if your cat likes Purina Cat
Chow, go get your Purina Cat Chow coupons and make a donation to a
local cat shelter too. Most shelters are suffering from the
financial meltdown and need all the help you are able to provide.

Purina probably does produce the
best generic commercial grade cat food. Plus most cats love it. If
